SEMINARIAN ULTIMATE FRISBEE TOUR

Several of our seminarians are planning an Ultimate Frisbee Tour of the Archdiocese to introduce themselves to and compete against local teens. Tour stops have been set for Thursday, June 23 from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. at St. Remy Parish, Russia; Saturday, July 16 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary; and Saturday, July 23, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Precious Blood Parish, Dayton. Dayton and Cincinnati events begin with Mass before the games and all events include a meal. youth rally is returning to St. Luke Parish in Beavercreek on Sunday, October 23, 2011. We are very excited to be bringing in Catholic recording artist Tony Melendez to serve as our keynote speaker. Because of the costs associated, we will be charging $5.00 per person admission. More information will be available this fall.

– SEPTEMBER 23 – 25, 2011 CREDO: I Believe

is a powerful weekend Eucharistic retreat especially designed this year to help prepare young people for the New Roman Missal. Pastors, parish catechetical leaders and youth ministry leaders – as well as high school principals and campus ministers – are asked to make it a priority to include CREDO in their parish and school calendars and to bring their teens. CREDO is strongly endorsed by Archbishop Schnurr and is a collaborative effort of the Archdiocesan Offices of Vocations, Youth & Young Adult Ministry, Worship, Evangelization and Catechesis, and the St. Gertrude Dominican Friars.
