We are exactly one week late in passing along this story, but for all those in the Catholic world who have been living under a rock, here is a wonderful article with the most exciting news: John Paul II will be beatified on May 1st (Divine Mercy Sunday).

As this date nears, may all those who are discerning find great comfort in a man of God who lived his entire life for God and who always reminded us that Jesus urges us, “Do not be afraid” and to “Go out into the deep.” Let us follow his example to be totus tuus as sons and daughters of Mary and disciples of Jesus Christ.
