The following is a list of all the religious vocation-related upcoming events happening in and around the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Thanks goes to the Serra Club of Greater Cincinnati for their efforts at collecting all the information for these events:
Spiritual Motherhood of Priests
Our parish is joining all the parishes across the Archdiocese in launching a new prayer apostolate that encourages women to consider becoming a spiritual mother to one priest or seminarian of our Archdiocese. Prayer for priests and seminarians has been proven to be effective throughout the history of the Church and we would like all the women of the parish to consider signing their name to the poster located in the vestibule and taking a packet of materials to begin praying for your new spiritual son. For more information about this apostolate please visit cincinnativocations.org/spiritual-motherhood-of-priests.
July 12-14: Come and See Mission Retreat
The Glenmary Home Missioners invite young men to a discernment weekend during which they will have the opportunity to enter into the Glenmary community with priests, brothers and other men in discernment, visit a Glenmary mission and join in communal prayer and reflection. There is no cost for these retreats. To register or to get more information, contact Br. David Henley at 513-881-7411.
Fall 2019: Andrew Dinners
Once again this Fall, Archbishop Schnurr is inviting all young men in high school who are interested in or who are considering a vocation to the priesthood to come join him for an evening of dinner, prayer and discussion about discernment and life in the seminary. Dinners will be held in three locations in the Fall (September 18 – St. Ignatius, Cincinnati; September 25 – Alter High School, Dayton; October 2 – St. Joseph, Wapakoneta) and registrations will be available toward the end of the summer. If you would like more information, feel free to contact Fr. Dan Schmitmeyer .

The Children of Mary invite all young women discerning the religious life to learn more about their community through a personal vocation retreat. These retreats can be requested at anytime through their website http://www.childrenofmary.net/vocationdiscernmentretreats.shtml .
