VICTORY!
June 24th, 2011 by Andrew

Well sort of.  The feature game of the night was the Versailles Blades against the seminarians, and well…we won’t talk about the final score, though it was a close game.   All told there were something like 80 youth from the North country who rose to the challenge.  In this regard it was a great victory for promoting vocations to the holy priesthood, but losing gracefully is not my strong suit (a spoonful of humility is good for you, right?) but overall it was an overwhelmingly good turnout and I was so happy that youth rose to the challenge!   The bar has been set VERY high for the Cincinnati and Dayton events….will you be shown up by the good townsfolk of the North?  Time will only tell.  Thanks so much to the Serra Club North (in formation) for grilling out and being all-around awesome!

(Thanks to Fish Report Online and Serra Club North [in formation] for the pictures.)
